The La Marque property / site was not purchased and NO longer
under consideration.
All Capital Development related activities and efforts are on permanent hold
until the Parishioners' Stewardship contributions can fully fund the
Operating Budget without Greek Festival Contributions or the General
Assembly decides otherwise. The Parish cannot financially withstand another
divisive and costly endeavor.
Parish Council please asks everyone to focus on Stewardship and growing the
Parish membership.
No attempts will be made to acquire adjacent lands due to the lack of
available funds.
If any group of Parishioners has a strong desire to pursue approval from the
City of Webster for all existing (or future purchased) Parish lands to be
ruled Special Use instead of Residential, please address the Parish Council
with a detailed plan in hand and authority will be granted on behalf of the
church reporting to Parish Council.
