Coffee Hour

Vacation for Fr. Florin
Father will be on vacation starting August 16th. The church will be open for candle lighting and prayer on August 22 and 29th. Details will follow.

Next Philoptochos Meeting
Ladies Philoptochos is on vacation during the months of July and August. I hope everybody is having a good rest and is ready to start our fall season. Our next meeting will be on September 12th, 2010. I look forward to seeing everybody. Merja Tambourides, President

Sunday School News
Sunday School will resume September 12. The Sunday School needs some new teachers. The children need your guidance. Even if you can only help a couple of Sundays a month it will be beneficial. Please contact Mary Maxson if you can help our children, the future of our church.

A few ladies in St. John`s Parish have expressed a desire to form an "Adult women`s" greek dance group in order to learn some new dances and perform at our next Greek festival.

Food Pantry
Please don't forget to bring something to the church for those less fortunate than ourselves. Any nonperishable item - especially peanut butter, canned soups, canned stew, tuna or chicken or meat cans - and any toiletry item - toilet paper, shampoo, soap, diapers, detergent - will be greatly appreciated.

Prosforo Reminder
Please make sure that Prosforo is in church before the start of the service on Sunday. Please write the date (or put a sticker with the date) on the plastic bags with the Prosforo. That way the oldest will be used first. Thank you for your help, Cleopatra Nelson
